June 2018 Primary Election

Democrats, republicans and unaffiliated voters are eligible to participate. This is the first-time unaffiliated voters are eligible to participate in the Primary Election. Unaffiliated voters without a party preference will receive a democratic and republican ballot in their packet. Unaffiliated voters should vote with one ballot and return one ballot--returning two ballots will invalidate both. You can vote by mail; ballots were mailed to active voters the week of June 4, 2018.

Annual Pay Survey Market Analysis Approved

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) performs an annual market analysis of pay in the Denver metropolitan area each year to determine what pay survey adjustments should be recommended for occupational groups and/or individual classifications covered by the city’s classification and pay plan. The recommendations have been approved to implement. Employees below minimum will receive their new pay rate effective 7/1/2018, reflected in the 7/13/2018 paycheck.

A new pilot kicks off for single-family homes in Denver! Requests for a Home Energy Score are available on a first-come, first-served basis for properties that have sold within the last 12 months as well as those that are preparing to list or are currently on the market.

Lunch and Learn: Become a Front-Line Supervisor

OHR's Learning & Development team is hosting a lunch and learn for city employees called “Exploring the Decision to Become a Front-line Supervisor/Manager.” This will be the third session in a well-attended series. Since a large group is expected, the format of this session will be round-tables with each table led by a recently promoted leader. These leaders have recently experienced the transition from individual contributor to supervisor/manager and were recommended or selected to participate. They have been asked to share their experiences and thoughts related to their transition and will lead the discussion. For those interested in attending, enroll here.
