South bridge construction has started!
The old bridge was removed on 1/9/18. The new bridge is currently being fabricated and will be open to the public by March 31, 2018. We recognize this bridge provides a key connection to the park and the Goldsmith Gulch Trail, and are replacing the existing 4’ wide bridge with a 12’ wide bridge that will better serve the park and regional trail.
Design of the East (E Amherst Ave) and West (S Newport St) bridges is underway, and construction is anticipated to begin in late summer/early fall 2018. Read the updated FAQ here.

SIPPING N' PAINTING HAMPDEN
Nancy Cronk started painting at age 50 and envisioned a place where people of all ages and abilities could come together for a drink, eclectic music, and learn how to paint. Nancy and her husband, Saul, took that vision and established Sipping ‘N Painting, a quaint, community-oriented studio, located off Hampden & I-25. They pride themselves on giving back to the community by frequently hosting fundraisers and donating to area schools and non-profits. It is the only art studio in Colorado with a Certified Bob Ross instructor (a wet-on-wet oil painting technique). The studio hosts private events and individual classes range from $25-$40. Check them out at https://www.sippingnpaintinghampden.com/.
