SOUTH BY SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY FESTIVAL

BIKE & PEDESTRIAN MAPS FROM YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD TO THE FESTIVAL

In an effort to encourage sustainable practices, we are proud to announce this event is Certifiably Green by Denver's Department of Public Health & Environment. As part of the certification, guests who travel to the festival by walking, biking or public transit AND take a short survey will have a chance to spin a prize wheel (while supplies last)

To help you plan your trip to South by Southeast, we've put together these maps to guide you safely from your neighborhood:

South by Southeast (SxSE) was developed after an extensive visioning series to find out what southeast Denver residents wanted to see in the district. Community members expressed a strong desire for improved restaurants and retail, walkability and bikeability, and a community gathering place. While we continue to work to create this grand vision for the area, planning and development can take a very long time. So, we put together a one-day community festival to showcase all the possibilities and opportunities available in southeast Denver. We enlisted the help of our working groups to plan the first annual SxSE that was held on August 19, 2017 in Bible Park. We couldn't have done it without our great volunteers and working group members! Thank you!

We are hard at work planning the second annual SxSE, which will take place on August 18, 2018 in Bible Park. If you're interested in volunteering, performing, renting a booth, or serving food, please contact kathy.gile@denvergov.org.
