Rental Facilities

There are 6 event venues available for rental:

  • Central Park Pavilion
  • Chief Hosa Lodge
  • City Park Pavilion
  • James Fleming Mansion
  • Montclair Civic Building
  • Washington Park Boathouse

The Central Park Pavilion, Chief Hosa Lodge, James Fleming Mansion, and the Montclair Civic Building are available for reservations up to one year in advance.

City Park Pavilion and Washington Park Boathouse are currently available for reservations between April 15 and October 15 2018. 

Reservation Instructions and Requirements

Applications ARE NOT accepted by email at any time and NO paper application is available to complete. All reservation requests are accepted online or in-person only and must be submitted at least 30 days in advance.

  1. View instructions on how to check availability and complete your reservation request 
  2. Start your online reservation request in the DPR Online Service Center
  3. Nonrefundable $210 down payment DUE at time of booking
  4. Within 2 business days of submitting request, you will receive an email regarding the status of your request


Due at time of booking: $210 non-refundable down payment

21 days prior to event: Remaining balance due (non-refundable)

Payments can be made online or in-person at the Parks Permit Office. Accepted methods of payment include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, money orders, cashier checks or checks made payable to “Manager of Finance.” Payment instructions will be sent via email with pending approval of reservation request.

Permit Requirements
The following requirements must be met no later than 21 calendar days prior to event:

  1. All fees paid in full
  2. Proof of insurance coverage.
  3. Permit holder must complete a walk-through with an Event Facilitator. Event Facilitator contact information will be sent via email with pending reservation approval.

If all requirements are met by the deadline (21 calendar days prior to event date) approved permits will be sent via email no later than 14 business days prior to event date.


Schedule a Tour:
Free, guided one (1) hour tours are available for parties who wish to see the interior of a venue and ask additional questions before submitting a reservation application. Registered tour attendees are invited to bring one guest. View instructions on how to check availability and schedule a tour.

Schedule a Walk-through (for permit holders only):
A one (1) hour walk-through with a DPR Event Facilitator is required to obtain your approved Event Facilities Permit. The walk-through will cover day-of event logistics. Permit holders are strongly encouraged to bring any vendors, family or friends who will play a role in your event and need to see the venue prior to your reservation date. Permit holders are limited to one walkthrough. View instructions on how to schedule a walk-through.

Tour and walk-through schedules are updated on the 25th of each month.
Walk-throughs do NOT need to be scheduled sooner than 60 days prior to your event date.

  • All cancelations must be submitted to the Event Coordinator in writing.
  • If canceled more than 30 days in advance, all fees except the $210 down payment will be refunded. 
  • If canceled less than 30 days in advance, no refund will be issued.
