Pre-Submittal Meeting: A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held January 4, 2018 in Conference Room 4.F.6 at 9:30 a.m., Webb Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80202.  Interested firms are strongly encouraged to attend.  Proposers are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

General Statement of Work: The City and County of Denver is seeking a qualified contractor for Horizontal Integrated Construction Services to provide overall management; preconstruction services; site management services; control services; removal, replacement and/or installation of temporary and permanent underground utilities; site excavation and backfill; bulk earthworks; temporary roads and parking areas; site remediation and waste disposals; permanent roads and sidewalk construction; bridge construction; rail relocation and construction; landscape/hardscape installation; and other similar site infrastructure work at multiple work locations on and/or near the National Western Center campus.

Prequalification Requirements: Each prime contractor must be prequalified as a 1A General Civil contractor at the $25-million financial level AND obtain project-specific permission for projects over $25 million, in accordance with the Rules and Regulations Governing Prequalification of Contractors. Each submitter shall have submitted a prequalification application and shall and receive project-specific permission to propose a minimum of 10 calendar days prior to the submittal due date. M/WBE Participation: The Minority and Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Participation Project goals will be obtained as work orders are identified. Participation will be addressed by means of a compliance plan, as authorized by the Director.  The successful proposer must be prepared to submit a Compliance Plan upon Notice of Selection, as a component of contract negotiations and award.

Prevailing Wage: Contracts for construction, reconstruction, and remodeling are subject to prevailing wage rate requirements established pursuant to Section 20-76, D.R.M.C.

As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of The Mayor’s Office of the National Western Center reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, submittals.
