Fall 2020 Programs
A limited number of recreation programs will be offered beginning September 8, 2020. These classes and activities will occur in outdoor spaces following current safety guidelines. Register for programs now!

All Denver Recreation Centers and Pools are closed until further notice as details on how to open safely and equitably while minimizing the potential spread COVID-19 are determined.
All centers that are meal sites will continue to serve meals during regularly scheduled hours (Mon.-Fri. 3:30-5:30pm).

Essentrics™
A low-impact class using standing, floor, and barre exercises to help participants achieve results. This dynamic stretching program improves strength and flexibility at the same time.
Cardio Kickboxing
Get ready to work every muscle in your body! This class is structured in 4 segments that are guaranteed to make you sweat—kickboxing, bodyweight training, agility and plyometrics, and core work to provide a high-intensity interval training experience unlike any other!
Group Training
Utilizing a variety of specialty equipment combined with plyometric and agility movements, this circuit-style class will deliver an incredible, full-body workout in minimal time. Come ready to sweat!
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
High intensity interval training is an enhanced exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. HIIT is a form of cardiovascular exercise designed to improve fitness in rapid time. Come ready to torch calories and have a blast! This protocol is proven to physiologically transform your body!
HIIT-Cycle
This 45-minute high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout is designed to achieve maximum performance in minimal time. Build lean muscle, burn calories for 24-hours after your workout, and challenge yourself mentally and physically while having fun!
Indoor Cycling
Improve cardiovascular strength and endurance with this non-impact, traditional indoor cycling class. Designed for all levels, it is a challenging opportunity to get your heart pumping, torch serious calories, and prepare you for your adventures out of the saddle.
Power Yoga
Generate heat in the body, build stamina, increase lean muscle mass, and improve balance with this class includes an athletically influenced yoga format that provides a faster pace and challenging sequence of poses.
Tai Chi
Often called "moving meditation," this class is a graceful form of exercise that helps reduce stress and improve overall health and well-being through stretching and gentle movement.
Total Body Conditioning
Strengthen your muscles with this total-body workout designed to help you get lean and toned! This high-energy, resistance training class will challenge your body to feel the burn and get maximum results.
Vinyasa Yoga
This practice is based on foundational yoga poses performed in a dynamic, flowing style to create a balance of physical action, internal focus, and conscious breathing. Poses are modified to include beginners while challenging experienced practitioners.
Yoga
This meditative practice includes longer holds to ignite the body’s internal heat and allow deep release to occur. Students learn to balance strength with flexibility and effort with surrender in each pose. Level I is for beginners. Level II includes more challenging movements.
Zumba®
This Latin class fuses hypnotic rhythms and easy to follow choreography to create an exciting dance cardio class. With combinations of international dance steps, Zumba will allow you to torch calories while having fun!
