Johnson is a Neighborhood Level recreation center located in the northwest area. Its facility features include:
Pickleball
Fun paddle sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is played on a badminton sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. Play occurs on a "first come, first served" basis. Equipment is available for use.
Tai Chi
Often called "moving meditation," this class is a graceful form of exercise that helps reduce stress and improve overall health and well-being through stretching and gentle movement.
ZUMBA®
Fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning.
