Southwest is a Local Level recreation center in the southeast area. Its facility features include:
Fun paddle sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is played on a badminton sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. Play occurs on a "first come, first served" basis. Equipment is available for use.
Using the principles of Joseph Pilates, this mat-based class is designed to increase core strength, flexibility, coordination, posture, and body awareness.
Often called "moving meditation," this class is a graceful form of exercise that helps reduce stress and improve overall health and well-being through stretching and gentle movement.
Total Body Conditioning
Strengthen your muscles with this total-body workout designed to help you get lean and toned! This high-energy, resistance training class will challenge your body to feel the burn and get maximum results.
This meditative practice includes longer holds to ignite the body’s internal heat and allow deep release to occur. Students learn to balance strength with flexibility and effort with surrender in each pose. Level I is for beginners. Level II includes more challenging movements.
