As we think about health in Denver, it’s important to not only consider health outcomes but also the social and community factors that influence health. Health data can include anything from demographic breakdowns of the population to rates of obesity. As DDPHE’s Office of Health Equity, we use data to lift up health related issues in sub-populations that are disproportionately affected by systemic and historical policies and practices.
